The Best Drawing Program is one that is no longer supported by it’s corporate owner. The Best Drawing Program is Freehand hands down.

The reason Freehand is the Best Drawing Program is that it is intuitive to use, fairly light weight in it’s memory requirements, and it has a powerful set of tools that are easy to use, and an interface that is minimal as compared to the most complex and obtuse program named Illustrator.

Best Drawing Program
Most Intuitive Drawing Program
Freehand
Best Illustration Program

Adobe does it’s customers a disservice by refusing to update Freehand to keep it modern, lean and mean, and working on the latest operating systems for Macs and Windows. So without further delay save the best drawing program from total demise.

I have changed my opinion on the Victor electronic mouse trap. I have caught about half a dozen rats, and perhaps a dozen mice, or baby rats since I started using this high tech mouse trap. It zaps the mice and rats quite well most of the time. Occasionally a larger rat will survive, and only be stunned, but this appears to be an anomaly. And yes I did get a bit of a shock the first time I used it, but it was a mild shock, and now I know to hold the trap only by the plastic parts, and to not handle the trap while it is energized.

Rat and Mouse Trap Bait

I have experimented quite a bit with various baits to use in the Victor Mouse Trap. Peanut butter is the tried and true bait that mostly works. Sometimes the rodents don’t seem quite so interested in the peanut butter, and so I will use bits of cooked or not cooked meat, including chicken, beef and fresh tuna. I have also used smoked tuna, chicken scratch, bread, cheese, fruit including apples and pears. One particular week I knew we had a rodent, as the dog and the cats all were interested in something under the stove. Nothing seemed to lure the rodent out though. Finally I spied some raisins on the floor that kids had dropped, thought to myself, I’ll bet these work. Tried it and that night I scored with a fresh kill.

I still have a gripe that the victor rodent trap is not easy to clean, and so I reach out to Victor to improve their design so that it is easy to clean the trap. And also to improve on the electronics by having an internal battery indicator to let you know when the batteries are low, and to make it impossible or at the very least difficult for humans to get shocked.

Restaurants have a tiny bit of a problem with used cooking fats, oil and grease clogging up their own plumbing as well as public sewer pipes. As a result of this it is illegal in most metropolitan areas for restaurateurs to dump their grease down the drain. And so restaurants install grease traps on all kitchen sink drains leading to the sewer system. The grease traps separate out fats, oils and grease (aka F.O.G. or FOG) from the water and store it until the grease trap is pumped out or cleaned.

San Francisco, and most counties and cities in the Northern California Area require that these grease traps be installed at all restaurants. The laws also state that grease traps must be properly maintained, and grease traps cleaned or pumped out on a regular basis.

If you need grease trap cleaning and pumping contact Sirona Fuels to arrange grease trap cleaning service

My 5 1/2 year old son is obsessed with everything toy, tv and movie related to Power Rangers, Ninjago, Ninjitsu, Ninjas, Beyblades, martial arts etc. Trouble is these toys and shows all exist to sell additional products and have little to nothing to do with being a modern warrior or martial arts.

We decided to check out the various Vallejo Martial Arts Schools in the area. One school came highly recommended by the Vallejo Moms Club members, and that was the Seibukan Jujutsu taught at the Modern Warrior Arts Academy and Vallejo Martial Arts at 349 Georgia Street in downtown Vallejo. Sensei Bear Roberts had a great reputation for being an excellent and effective teacher for kids, teens and adults. So, we signed him up for Jujutsu lessons with Sensei Bear. I was to participate, by partnering with my son and help with his form, and be a motivating force. Well, after a couple classes I decided to sign up also, since we were both having so much fun.

Class starts with warm ups to help insure that muscles are warm, and stretched, and help prevent injuries. Also the exercises are meant to also help with the fundamental techniques of the art, and to help with proper form. There are a lot of very good exercises we do, that I also practice out of class, the wrist strengthening and stretches, foot and leg stretches, etc.

Then we practice falling safely by doing forward and backward shoulder rolls. This one thing has loosened up my back and shoulders, and has made me feel better than I have in a long time. Rolling around moves your spine, and I think helps adjust it much like a chiropractor might. It was a bit scary at first standing straight up, and reaching out and falling to your hands, and rolling on the mat, but I’m able to do it, and not hurt myself, and I love it!

We are now into our second month, and we are learning Awareness and to be both physically and mentally present in the moment. Assessment of the options we have, and finally Action.

My son loves rolling, and he has great form. Other kids show up for the class, and it’s a hoot helping the kids have fun, and
